How We Operate
Anarchy Lacrosse is an independent media site covering lacrosse. This page explains how content gets made, what our standards are, and what you should expect from us.
Independence
Anarchy Lacrosse has no institutional affiliation. We are not funded by any team, conference, governing body, or equipment brand. We do not take editorial direction from advertisers. An ad buy does not buy favorable coverage, a positive gear review, or silence on things we think are wrong.
When we cover a team, we cover them honestly. When we review gear, we review it honestly. When we have a take, it is a take we actually hold — not one calibrated for access or clicks.
Opinions vs. Reporting
A lot of what we publish is opinion and analysis. We make this clear in how we write — we say “this team is overseeded” not “sources indicate this team may be overseeded.” When something is our read on a situation, we own it as our read. Factual claims — scores, transactions, commitments — are reported as facts and sourced where possible.
Sourcing and Accuracy
We verify facts before publishing them. Stats and scores come from official league sources or well-established aggregators. Recruiting commitments are only reported when publicly confirmed by the player or an official school announcement. We do not invent quotes or attribute statements to people who did not say them.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it — visibly, in the article, not by quietly changing text. If you catch a factual error, use the contact page.
Gear Reviews
Gear reviews are based on real-world assessment of the product. Some gear is purchased by us; some is provided by manufacturers for review. When a product is provided for review, we note it. Being provided gear does not guarantee a positive review — it guarantees an honest one. For information on affiliate relationships, see our Affiliate Disclosure.
Coverage of High School Players
High school players are minors. We cover their commitments and accomplishments celebratorily and never speculate negatively about their decisions, rankings, or development. We do not publish personal identifying information about minors beyond what is standard in recruiting coverage (name, position, class year, school/program).
Who Runs This Site
Anarchy Lacrosse is operated by a single independent editor with deep knowledge of the lacrosse landscape. There is no editorial board, no corporate parent, and no PR layer between the writing and you.
