Long Island alone could field a national all-star team — programs like Garden City, Manhasset, and Massapequa have been factories for elite talent for decades. Add the strong programs upstate and in Westchester, and you’ve got one of the deepest high school lacrosse landscapes in the country.
The competition level in New York is a proving ground. Kids who come out of the top programs here have seen pressure that most recruits haven’t touched by the time they step onto a college campus.
